We are seeking a Systems Developer to automate the process of creating and maintaining large server farms and managing cloud computing.
With more than 21 trillion rows of data in our private cloud, 1010data is designed to scale to the largest volumes of granular data, the most disparate and varied data sets, and the most complex advanced analytics. All while delivering lightning-quick system performance.
The Systems Developer will be responsible for building, scaling and maintaining our network and server infrastructure as we grow thousands of customers and automate the management of back-end development.
We are so successful because we are the fastest. The fastest. We are already working on superfast computers and need you to make them faster; migrate our existing Windows fleet to Linux while obsessing over performance optimization.
You will be developing adaptive distributed system software and high-speed communication system software to support high-performance distributed computing (HPDC) applications. If it’s not fast, we are not interested.
If you are passionate about hardware and software you will work with top of the line products to will improve our performance. Our engineers possess a unique mix of programming and systems expertise who love solving problems most don’t like to think about.
At 1010data experience in a specific programming language isnot required; however the right person knows how to program and will learn new languages quickly.
Overall you should have a strong, general knowledge of technical infrastructure and how and why things work together. You should also demonstrate a solid, analytical thought process in response to challenges or problems.
